- 8 large mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté chopped mushroom stems and garlic until soft.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sautéed mixture with breadcrumbs, cream cheese, Parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the filling, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for 20-25 minutes until tender and golden brown.
Notes
Choose firm mushrooms for better texture. Customize the filling to your liking. Can be made in advance and stored in the fridge before baking.
