Description

A delightful baked salmon dish that combines rich flavors of harissa and lemon, perfect for a quick dinner or a gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon harissa paste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, harissa paste, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; whisk until smooth.
  3. Arrange salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the spice mixture over each fillet.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from the oven, let rest for a minute, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For added crunch, consider topping with sliced almonds before baking. This recipe can also be adapted using other types of fish.
