- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon harissa paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, harissa paste, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; whisk until smooth.
- Arrange salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the spice mixture over each fillet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven, let rest for a minute, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For added crunch, consider topping with sliced almonds before baking. This recipe can also be adapted using other types of fish.
