Description

Delicious salmon patties that are easy to make and perfect as an appetizer, main course, or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of salmon, drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and beaten egg.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste and mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small patties, ensuring they’re uniform in size for even cooking.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown. Once cooked, remove them from the pan and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

Notes

For added crunch, consider adding cornmeal to the mixture. Experiment with herbs and spices for flavor variations.
