Description

A light and creamy ice cream recipe made without heavy cream, using full-fat milk and light cream or evaporated milk for a satisfying treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups full-fat milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk powder
  • 1/2 cup light cream or evaporated milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the full-fat milk, sugar, and milk powder. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Add the light cream (or evaporated milk), vanilla extract, and salt to the mixture. Stir to mix thoroughly.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  4. Transfer the ice cream to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  5. Serve and enjoy your homemade ice cream straight from the freezer.

Notes

For variations, consider adding cocoa powder for chocolate flavor or fresh fruits for a fruity twist.
