- 6 cups sliced apples
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon. Toss until well coated, then pour into a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt until crumbly. Sprinkle this over the apples.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can also be frozen for longer storage.
